Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in mep mechanical design within a consulting engineering environment.
  • Proven ability to manage several project teams concurrently and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Revit for mechanical design and coordination.
  • Knowledge of IES VE, HAP, and TRACE for mechanical system analysis and load calculations.

Job Description

This MEP Mechanical Engineer role focuses on leading mechanical design projects within a consulting engineering environment, coordinating closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work that meets client standards. The position involves managing multiple project teams, overseeing project execution from planning through delivery, and providing technical leadership in mechanical design for healthcare, sports, commercial, and industrial facilities. The engineer will play a key role in resource planning, quality assurance, and client communication, while contributing to business development efforts and supporting a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $57.69/hr.
