Flourish Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct initial assessments of patients' mental health needs by actively listening to their concerns and gathering relevant information.
• Diagnose mental and emotional disorders based on established criteria and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and coping strategies that empower patients to navigate their challenges and achieve their mental health goals.
• Monitor patient progress over time, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Educate both patients and staff on effective coping mechanisms related to stress and trauma, fostering a supportive atmosphere for healing.
• Collaborate with social workers, medical professionals, and community organizations to coordinate care and ensure patients receive a holistic approach to their health.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and keep pace with emerging best practices in mental health care.

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who have experienced trauma or acute emotional distress, guiding them through their healing journeys. This population may include individuals facing a range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to PTSD and other trauma-related issues. Your ability to connect with patients on a personal level, while providing expert guidance, will be essential to fostering their resilience and promoting lasting change.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with trauma patients, showcasing expertise in treating diverse mental health conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting purposes; familiarity with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platforms is a significant advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey therapeutic concepts and maintain rapport with patients.

• Experience in a community health setting, with a passion for supporting underserved populations.
• Additional certifications in trauma-informed care or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) are desirable.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, Flourish Mental Health offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
