In your role as a remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions scheduled via video chat, allowing for a personalized therapy experience.
• Encourage clients to express their emotions and share experiences that may be affecting their mental health.
• Assist clients in setting achievable therapeutic goals aimed at improving their emotional well-being.
• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder the recovery process, providing strategies for improvement.

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Licensing: An independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification is mandatory. Note: Provisional or limited licenses will not be considered.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a sympathetic and understanding nature.
• Technologically proficient, with familiarity in using digital platforms for therapeutic purposes.

Experience in telehealth settings or with online counseling platforms is highly desirable. Familiarity with diverse therapeutic modalities and techniques that can be effectively delivered in a remote format will be an added advantage.
