Job description

Entity: Oracle America, Inc. 

 

Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires:

  • Object oriented programming language including Java;
  • Developing and shipping enterprise distributed or cloud native systems;
  • Publish or subscribe messaging systems including Kafka, Google Pub or Sub, or RabbitMQ;
  • Relational databases including OracleDB;
  • System design and distributed systems architecture; and
  • Data Structures and Algorithms to design efficient and scalable solutions.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $167,149 to $178,999 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and/or equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
