Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Locations: NS Great Lakes, IL | Scott Air Force Base, IL | Camp Atterbury, IN

Make a Meaningful Difference Through Compassionate Behavioral Health Care

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking compassionate, licensed mental health professionals to provide on-site, non-medical behavioral health services across a variety of government-supported programs.

In this role, you may support diverse populations, including military service members, veterans, spouses, families, children, adolescents, and other eligible individuals. Services are provided in a variety of settings, including military installations, schools, child and youth programs, community locations, and other designated environments.

What You'll Do
  • Provide confidential, face-to-face, non-medical counseling services to eligible individuals and families.
  • Deliver individual, couples, family, and child/adolescent counseling and support based on program requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, educational sessions, and wellness presentations on topics such as stress management, resilience, communication, healthy relationships, life transitions, and coping strategies.
  • Consult and collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, program leadership, and other stakeholders to support client success.
  • Assist clients in navigating personal, family, workplace, and life challenges while promoting healthy coping skills and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all program, contract, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and site representatives to ensure quality service delivery and contract compliance.
  • Participate in outreach activities, educational events, and other behavioral health initiatives as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline (MSW, MS, MA, or equivalent).
  • Current, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory.

Acceptable licenses include:

  • LPC
  • LCPC
  • LMHC
  • LCSW
  • LMFT

Not eligible: LMSW, LADC, associate, provisional, intern, or supervised licenses.

  • Ability to provide behavioral health services independently while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and consultation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Must successfully pass all required background investigations and site-specific suitability requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing counseling services to adults, families, children, and adolescents.
  • Experience working in school, community, healthcare, or government-supported behavioral health settings.
  • Experience delivering workshops, presentations, or psychoeducational programming.
  • Familiarity with military-connected populations, first responders, or other high-stress professions is a plus.
