Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist residents with shower, dressing, oral care, making beds, personal laundry and keeping their rooms tidy.
  • Assist residents into and out of beds, chairs, showers, wheelchairs as needed.
  • Assist with meals, beauty shop and activities as needed.
  • Assist with transportation (golf cart) to PT, Lab, X-ray, or local clinic as directed
  • Answer call lights promptly.
  • Treat all residents with dignity and respect while helping to assure their comfort
  • Assist nurse as directed while always maintaining confidentiality and abiding by HIPPA laws
  • Clean and defrost resident's refrigerators as scheduled.  
  • Document completion of tasks as scheduled
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
