Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is seekingapplications for a Stadium & Venue Maintenance & Operations Technician atAmerican Legion Memorial Stadium and the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex.  American Legion Memorial Stadium is a newlyrenovated, 10,000 capacity, multi-purpose stadium.  The Sportsplex has nine synthetic turfmulti-purpose fields, two grass multi-purpose fields and a grass 4,000 seatstadium.  The selected candidate willassist the Maintenance Supervisor and Facility Managers with the preparationand maintenance of these facilities.  Some of the responsibilities include field layout and painting of fieldand logos, set-up and break-down of facilities for events, cleaning restrooms,and general cleaning and maintenance of the facilities.  This full-time position will be required towork nights, weekends and holidays based on the event schedule.
