Job Title: CVOR Technician
Profession: Surgical Services

Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Active license required before start
Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, NCCT
Must-Have:
- Previous charge experience
- Community hospital experience
Description:
Will work on hybrid procedures involving both CVOR and Cath Lab teams.
Daily census is approximately 10-15 patients.
The unit includes 5 operating rooms and 8 beds.
Required to float, call is required after 2:30 PM, on weekends and holidays.
Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
An on-site drug screen will be conducted prior to starting the position.
Failure to pass the drug screen may result in cancellation of the assignment.
Medical or religious exemptions for flu vaccine are allowed.
Responsibilities include various cardiovascular repairs and surgeries.
Skills required include abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass grafting, and more specialized procedures.
