Job description

Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You’ll coordinate field activities, manage subcontractors, and serve as the primary on-site contact for the project team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all field activities and ensure work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to maintain smooth workflow
  • Create and manage daily and weekly work schedules
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control at all phases of construction
  • Monitor progress and report daily activities, delays, or issues to the project manager
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, photos, material deliveries, and labor hours
  • Resolve on-site issues quickly to keep the project on track
  • Lead jobsite meetings with subcontractors



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documents
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in project management software, email, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
