Job description

MEMCO Houston currently hiring an experienced Field Mechanic to service and repair heavy equipment and CDL trucks in the field. This position requires someone who can diagnose problems quickly, work independently, and provide reliable service at customer and job site locations. Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrains
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and commercial trucks
  • Respond to roadside and job site service calls
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
  • Operate a service truck and maintain tools and parts inventory
  • Complete service reports and communicate repair recommendations with customers and management
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
