At StretchLab Bethany, we're building a team focused on service, growth, accountability, and community impact.
POSITION SUMMARY
As the Membership Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving membership growth, increasing revenue, generating new business, developing community partnerships, and leading the studio's sales efforts.
This role is approximately 80-90% sales-focused and is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, generating referrals, following up with leads, closing memberships, and coaching team members.
You will be expected to lead by example and maintain strong personal sales production while helping the sales team improve its performance.

  • Personally generating and closing sales
  • Maintaining strong lead follow-up and conversion rates
  • Consistently meeting required sales activity expectations

  • Developing and coaching a high-performing sales team

  • Building referral partnerships within the local community
  • Increasing member referrals and retention
  • Creating a positive, professional, and results-driven culture
  • Learning new systems and processes quickly and independently

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS ARE IMPORTANT
This position requires daily use of multiple technology systems.
You will work with CRM software, scheduling and booking systems, point-of-sale systems, email, texting platforms, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and other business applications.
You do not need previous experience with our specific systems, but you must be comfortable learning new technology quickly and independently.
We are looking for someone who can figure things out, learn new software without extensive hand-holding, and troubleshoot basic technology issues before asking for assistance.
If you become frustrated by new software, require extensive step-by-step instruction to learn basic computer systems, or generally prefer to avoid technology, this position will not be a good fit.
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum availability of two evenings per week
  • Minimum availability of one weekend day per week
  • Ability to attend community events, networking functions, and outreach opportunities as needed
  • Reliable attendance and consistent availability are essential

  • Previous management, leadership, or team coaching experience preferred
  • Strong track record of achieving sales goals or quotas

  • Comfortable discussing pricing, overcoming objections, and confidently asking for the sale
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and consistent follow-up
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Highly comfortable learning and using technology
  • Ability to quickly learn CRM, scheduling, POS, reporting, and other business systems
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of results
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping people improve their quality of life

Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, healthcare, or membership-based businesses is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive membership sales and achieve monthly revenue and membership goals
  • Personally generate and close new membership sales
  • Generate leads through prospecting, networking, community outreach, referrals, and marketing initiatives

  • Follow up consistently rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you
  • Learn new technology quickly
  • Take initiative and solve problems independently
  • Are organized and detail-oriented
  • Show up prepared and follow through on commitments
  • Enjoy building relationships and becoming involved in the local community

This is not a passive management position. The successful candidate will be actively involved in sales every day and will be expected to lead from the front.
HOW TO APPLY
Please submit your resume and answer the application questions thoroughly.
We are particularly interested in learning about:
  • Your previous sales experience
  • What products or services you sold
  • Your sales goals or quotas
  • How you performed against those goals
  • Your previous leadership or management experience
  • The CRM, POS, scheduling, reporting, and other business software you've used
