We are building a community for our members through shared experiences, exceptional food, wine and hospitality.The Perlant location in Nashville will offer members an all-day space to gather, work, relax, dine and enjoy a world-class collection of wine. The Perlant was designed to offer a light and airy respite for members, serving as the intersection between home and office. Members enjoy access to wine-focused programming, exclusive wine travel, concierge services, a full-service wine bar and private restaurant, special events and more. Our wine program features more than 40 wines by the glass and a library of more than 650 wines by the bottle and growing - working to become the most impressive wine collection in the city.

Position Overview:

As Membership Director, you will lead the charge in growing our member community, cultivating leads, converting prospects, and maintaining high engagement with current members. Reporting to the COO, you will be the face of membership - combining relationship-building, sales strategy, and hospitality to create an experience that is personal, refined, and memorable.

Youโ€™ll own and execute the membership acquisition strategy for our new Nashville location, manage a full sales pipeline, and work cross-functionally with our events, wine, and operations teams to ensure our members feel deeply connected to the club and its value.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive new member acquisition through strategic outreach, referrals, partnerships, and direct sales
  • Manage and optimize the full membership funnel - from lead generation to onboarding and retention: Identify, recruit, interview, and accept applicants into the club
  • Ongoing club communications with applicants as well as new members
  • Represent the club at events, tastings, and gatherings - hosting guests and articulating the value of membership
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, materials, and content that support member growth
  • Conduct tours pre-open and post-open
  • Coordinate events pre-open and post-open
  • Provide membership data to the corporate team on a weekly basis: Track and report on membership KPIs, lead activity, and conversion metric
  • Responsible for keeping membership data current in the CRM as well as communicating membership changes to staff
  • Deep knowledge of club operations to provide cross-functional support across departments
  • Collaborate with the events and hospitality team to deliver a consistently exceptional member experience
  • Continuously seek out new channels, partnerships, and ideas to elevate our visibility and attract the right members
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals through relationship-driven selling
  • Comfortable speaking with high-net-worth individuals, executives, and tastemakers
  • Warm, polished, and confident in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Highly organized and proactive - able to track details, follow up diligently, and manage multiple leads and touchpoints
  • Proficient in CRM databases
  • Effective interpersonal skills and clear communication (internal and external)
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Passion for wine & hospitality
  • Hospitality or Private Club background is preferred
  • Self-starter with a background in sales
  • 4โ€“6 years of experience in membership sales, hospitality, luxury brand sales, or private clubs
  • 4-year undergrad or equivalent
  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable - able to thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
