Job description

Change Lives. Compete Hard. Build a Career That Rewards Driving Sales Results

This isn’t your typical sales job. As a Membership Sales Teammate, you’ll be the face of the club, the first conversation a guest has, and the one who helps them believe that change is possible. You won’t just sell memberships — you’ll open the door to transformation.

And that starts with you. At Fitness Connection, we believe anyone can succeed in this role — but not just anyone will.

We’re looking for resilient, competitive, high-energy individuals who are ready to work hard, build meaningful connections, and chase down their goals. If you’ve ever played sports, led a team, served in the military, or been the person who always raises the bar — this is your lane.

About the Role

This is a full-time, guest-facing, sales-focused role where success is measured and rewarded. It’s fast-paced, performance-driven, and designed for people who love a challenge.

  • $40k – 50k+ Annually ($20/Hourly + Bonus/Contest)
  • Fulltime (40hrs) (Predictable Scheduling across Morning, Evening, and Weekend Shifts)

This role is also your entry point to club leadership. Many of our current General Managers, Sales Managers, and even Area Leaders started in this exact role. This is where you prove what you’re capable of. If you want a leadership career — it starts here.

What You'll Do

This role is all about action, connection, and hustle. The best Membership Sales Teammates are proactive and intentional every day. You're not waiting for opportunity — you're creating it.

Here’s what a high-performing day looks like:

  • Connect with new guests the moment they walk in the door — your energy, confidence, and communication set the tone
  • Lead club tours that showcase the value of our facilities and inspire guests to commit to their fitness goals
  • Make follow-up calls to past guests, trial pass users, referrals, and previous members
  • Set daily appointments with prospects through outbound calls, walk-ins, and digital leads
  • Maximize every opportunity — upsell family add-ons, promote premium services, and turn casual conversations into committed members
  • Get referrals from new members by creating excitement and delivering great first impressions
  • Support the front desk with check-ins, guest passes, and basic service needs
  • Own your numbers — you’ll be expected to track your daily metrics and consistently meet performance targets
  • Drive community engagement by attending local events, collaborating with nearby businesses, and increasing brand awareness
  • Show up like an owner — take pride in how the club looks, feels, and operates every day
  • Participate in team huddles, sales training, and mentorship sessions that keep you sharp and connected

This is a people-first role with real performance expectations. You’ll be part of a team that celebrates wins, competes with heart, and always raises the bar.

What It Takes to Win Here

You don’t need years of experience. We can train the right person. But there are a few must-haves:

  • Self-Discipline – You show up prepared, focused, and consistent — even when no one’s watching
  • Resilience – You bounce back from a “no,” keep going, and never lose your spark
  • Competitiveness – You want to win. You want your name at the top of the board
  • Confidence and Coachability – You believe in yourself but stay open to feedback and learning
  • Passion for Fitness – Whether you’re a lifelong athlete or simply love helping others live healthier, you care about what we do
  • People Skills – You connect quickly, ask great questions, and know how to move a conversation forward

What You’ll Get

We believe in rewarding performance and building careers from within. Here’s what comes with the role:

  • Guaranteed $20/hr base pay, 40 hours/week — predictable scheduling across morning, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Sales contests and incentives with extra cash, perks, and recognition - tied directly to your individual performance
  • Paid, structured sales training through our EPIC onboarding program
  • Hands-on coaching from experienced Club Managers, Area Managers, and Regional Directors
  • Clear paths to leadership — most Sales Managers and GMs were promoted from this very role
  • Free gym membership and full access to all club amenities
  • Employee discounts on supplements, personal training, and branded gear
  • A high-energy work environment where teammates cheer you on, compete with you, and hold you accountable
  • A mission with meaning — everything we do starts with helping someone change their life

Let’s Be Real

This role isn’t for everyone. We don't need teammates who want to sit back and be told what to do. We’re looking for those who step up, take action, and prove themselves through measurable results.

We’ll provide you with a process, tools, and world-class support — but you’ve got to bring the drive, the discipline, and the desire to win.

If you're motivated by challenge, ready to build something meaningful, and want to be surrounded by the most charismatic, competitive, and knowledgeable teammates in the fitness industry — this is your chance.
