Description

The 4-time WNBA Champions Seattle Storm are seeking a membership service representative to join their team. This position will be responsible for providing customer service and building relationships with our season ticket members. The membership service representative will play a key role in maintaining relationships with members and facilitating seamless access throughout the season. This person will have previous customer service experience and a desire to grow both their career and the sport of basketball.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities - to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

Develop and build strong relationships with a defined account base through proactive communication, including phone calls, emails, face to face visits, and other communicationΒ 

Drive annual retention and renewal efforts through proactive engagement, strategic account planning, and value-driven conversations at games, events, and other key member touchpoints

Maintain up-to-date knowledge and effectively communicate all team happenings, events, ticket member benefits and details that are relevant to accounts

Answer member inquires in a timely, professional, and accurate manner. Strive to deliver the highest standard of service at every interactionΒ 

Resolve client issues efficiently and empathetically by understanding their needs

Utilize CRM systems to document member interactions and sales activities

Execute various roles during Seattle Storm home games to assist season ticket members and ensure a memorable experience for fans

Contribute positively to the ticketing team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members

Assist management and departments on various projects as needed

Other duties as assigned


Additional Responsibilities include the following

Work all Storm home games (played at Climate Pledge Arena)

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications or a related field; or equivalent work experience

Related experience:

1-2 years of experience in a related position with proven success


Required Competencies:

Ability to work long or unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed

Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization

Ability to work in a team environment

Attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills

Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment


Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook)

Experience using CRM and ticketing systems is preferred


Compensation: Β $28.85/hour OT eligibleΒ 


Physical Demands:Β 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
