Job description

Member Services Representative

The Member Services Representative for Level II Fitness will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests. As a Member Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for anyone walking into our club and will play an integral role in contributing to the overall success of the club and the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and acknowledge members and guests as they enter the club
  • Check in members and guests and ensure they have a positive experience
  • Answer the phones and direct calls appropriately
  • Receive and process payment for membership, program sales and any other cash transactions while practicing proper cash handling procedures
  • Call new members to ensure a smooth transition to our facility, informing them of our referral program, and other membership benefits
  • Assist members and guests with inquiries and concerns
  • Resolving issues: de-escalating complaints/conflict, and providing solutions to members
  • Provide information about club services and amenities, along with promoting any internal programming
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and gym area
  • Understand and follow all safety rules and regulations including knowledge of emergency procedures and location of emergency equipment.
  • All other duties assigned by Level II management team

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to pass a background check
