Reports To: Team Lead/Director of Member Services
Job Overview
Are you proficient with numbers? Detail oriented and very organized? Most importantly, do you enjoy helping people? We are continually accepting applications from people who will provide the level of member service we are committed to, as well as help us live out our mission by improving the financial lives and well-being of our members.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for performing a broad variety of member services such as opening and closing accounts, including certificate and IRA accounts.
  • Assists members with bookkeeping and checking account problems
  • Assists member with online branch and mobile platforms.
  • Counsels and answers member questions regarding all Credit Union services and performs a variety of account maintenance.
  • Assists members with questions or problems and refers as appropriate.
  • Attends to miscellaneous transactions for members such as wire requests, redemption of bonds, deposit verifications, and other duties as assigned.
  • Stays informed of all products, services and operational procedures.
  • Cross sells all products and services.

Physical Job Requirements

Hours of Operation:
  • 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
  • 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Saturday

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of previous Teller or equivalent experience serving customers.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience recommending products and plans to improve a customer's financial position.
  • Associate degree preferred. An equivalent level of knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through work experience
  • Knowledge of banking and/or credit union regulations.
