Member Service Representative| Fit Fusion
Overview

The Member Services Representative (MSR) plays a key role throughout the life of the club. During pre-opening they contribute to the launch of a new Crunch Fitness for team members while delivering excellent customer service to the member base. They are enthusiastic about fitness and excited about serving others and help to deliver an exceptional member experience at gym level. They build excitement for a fiercely fun fitness environment within the community and assist in creating meaningful connections with members both current and prospective. 
During preopening the MSR helps introduce prospective members to the Crunch Fitness experience, educates individuals about membership options and club amenities, and inspires them to take the first step toward achieving their fitness goals. Through enthusiastic interactions, relationship building, and sales-focused conversations, this position supports presale membership goals while helping establish a strong presence in the local market.
 
Responsibilities 

  • Greets all members & guests with a focus on member engagement and retention.
  • Responsible for hitting personal lead generation goals of 5 leads per hour through business to business outreach and local events daily
  • Assists with membership, retail and tanning product sales.
  • Promotes membership privileges including tanning, group fitness, small group training and childcare.
  • Delivers on new member enrollment expectations.
  • Checks in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures, to include resolving any member check-in with an alert.
  • Answers phones in a courteous, helpful, professional manner
  • Communicates special events to prospective members, members, and guests.
  • Facilitates all member requests or forwards to a manager.
  • Maintains a professional and courteous disposition.
  • Is an expert in all club facility, services, programs and schedules/hours of operation.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area,
  • Able to navigate all stations of the front desk area, including: check-in, Relax & Recover, guest services, and membership sales.
  • Performs opening and closing checklist and duties. 
 Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-oriented position preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing skills. 
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire) 
 Physical Requirements 

  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50lb. 
  • Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking. 
Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
