Position Summary
The Production Supervisor - Melting & Casting is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations within the Melting & Casting department. This position oversees production personnel, ensures compliance with all safety and environmental standards, drives operational efficiency, and partners with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to meet production goals.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for achieving world-class performance in safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do!
  • Lead and supervise daily Melting & Casting manufacturing operations
  • Promote a culture where Safety Always Comes First
  • Coach, mentor, and develop hourly production employees
  • Drive employee accountability, engagement, and performance
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure customer delivery commitments are met
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and equipment utilization
  • Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to resolve production challenges

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or production supervision experience.
  • Experience in melting, casting, foundry, copper, aluminum, steel, metals manufacturing, forging, extrusion, rolling, or heavy industrial manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and Safety Leadership.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
