Job description

As Scanning Clerk, you will prepare documents for scanning, operate scanning equipment, and upload files according to strict naming conventions and quality standards. You will answer basic questions from end-users about scanned documents and assist with document lookups. This is a full-time day shift position based at our client location in Marana, Arizona.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Prepare documents for scanning, including removing bindings, repairing large tears, verifying box contents, and organizing documents.

● Scan documents of various sizes using desktop and large-format scanners.

● Upload scanned files and assign file names according to strict naming conventions and data entry standards.

● Perform quality review of scanned images for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

● Assist end-users with questions about scanned documents, including document lookups and basic troubleshooting.

● Escalate technical issues with scanning equipment or software to appropriate support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

● High School diploma or G.E.D.

● Prior document imaging or scanning experience, including proficiency with scanning equipment and software.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

● U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a thorough background check.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with document management or content management systems.

● Customer service experience in a technical or document-heavy environment.
