Job description

The Campaign Strategist supports the successful execution of linear and digital advertising campaigns across Sinclair's portfolio. This role serves as a key operational partner to Sales, Planning, Account Management, Traffic, Finance, and Marketing teams, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately, delivered successfully, and managed efficiently from order entry through completion.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced media environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution & Management

  • Support post-sale campaign execution across linear, digital, social, podcast, and owned-and-operated platforms.
  • Coordinate campaign setup, trafficking, flighting, inventory allocation, and fulfillment activities.
  • Monitor campaign delivery, pacing, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate campaign, advertiser, inventory, and order information across company systems.
  • Support make-goods, liability management, inventory adjustments, and campaign documentation.

Sales Support & Account Coordination

  • Serve as a primary operational resource for Account Executives, Planners, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide timely campaign updates, status reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Respond to campaign-related inquiries and support client service efforts through proactive communication and follow-through.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, Traffic, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure campaign success.
  • Support discrepancy resolution, billing validation, and monthly reporting processes.
  • Assist with inventory management, revenue tracking, and quarterly readiness activities.
  • Help ensure campaign commitments, reporting, and documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Prepare and deliver post-campaign MSA reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in advertising operations, campaign management, media planning, sales support, traffic, account management, or a related field.
  • Understanding of linear and digital advertising workflows and campaign execution.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working with reporting, inventory management, and campaign tracking.
  • Experience with advertising and workflow platforms such as GAM, Broadway, JIRA, Teams, Megaphone, Sprout, Smartsheet, or similar tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $22.60 to $26.57 per hour. In addition, this role may be eligible for a quartely bonus, which would be awarded based on individual and company performance. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
