Across its five Schools, Fisher offers nearly 40 majors in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, education, and nursing; 11 pre-professional programs; and master's and doctoral programs in business, nursing, education, pharmacy, and public health. The University's residential campus boasts a robust living and learning community and a successful intercollegiate athletics program. Job Responsibilities
This is a one-year visiting position in the Life Sciences Division, with the possibility for renewal.
The successful candidate's primary teaching responsibilities will focus on contributing to and teaching in the collaboratively-created Anatomy & Physiology I and II lecture and laboratory sections. These introductory courses primarily support students in the Nursing and Athletic Performance programs.
Education / Experience
Required:
  • Masters in Biology or a Life Science-related field
  • Minimally one year of experience teaching at the undergraduate level
  • Demonstrated ability to be an excellent teacher.
  • Experience working with college students or persons from a diverse background

Preferred:
  • Doctorate, or doctoral candidates with a scheduled completion date of August 1, 2026.
  • Experience teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology lecture and/or lab.
