What You'll Do

As a Events Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external events that support Thompson Thrift's strategic goals and brand presence. This includes managing events from concept through completion while ensuring alignment with company standards, timelines, and budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, manage, and execute a wide range of corporate events including annual meetings, grand openings, investor events, trade shows, and community engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event goals, budgets, and success metrics
  • Identify and secure venues, vendors, and necessary permits to support event execution
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Coordinate logistics including catering, audiovisual needs, entertainment, and guest experience
  • Oversee invitation management, attendee tracking, and event communications
  • Ensure seamless on-site execution and troubleshoot issues in real time
  • Provide post-event reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership
  • Maintain and manage the company-wide events calendar
  • Support brand promotion and marketing efforts tied to events
  • Event technology platform management (i.e. digital invitations, RSVP management, event applications, etc.)
