Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior MedTech Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle recruiting across critical roles within the MedTech ecosystem, including R&D, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and related technical and commercial functions.

This role requires deep expertise in MedTech talent markets, a strong understanding of regulatory and product lifecycles, and a proven ability to deliver high-impact talent in competitive, highly specialized environments. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving talent strategies that enable innovation, product development, and market success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Leadership

  • Define and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned to MedTech product development, innovation pipelines, and business priorities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent market dynamics, workforce planning, and hiring strategy within regulated environments

MedTech & Technical Recruiting Expertise

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for complex roles across R&D, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Operations
  • Develop a deep understanding of MedTech product lifecycles, regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, ISO), and required skill sets

Advanced Sourcing & Talent Attraction

  • Design and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract niche, high-demand MedTech talent
  • Leverage platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, research organizations, and AI-enabled tools

Candidate Assessment & Experience

  • Lead structured screening and interview processes to assess technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and cultural alignment
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience, particularly for highly specialized and passive talent

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and cross-functional leaders to understand hiring needs, project timelines, and team capabilities
  • Drive alignment through intake sessions, calibration, and ongoing consultative communication

Talent Pipelining & Workforce Planning

  • Build and maintain pipelines for critical MedTech roles, anticipating future hiring needs tied to product development and regulatory milestones
  • Proactively identify talent gaps and develop mitigation strategies

Employer Brand & Market Positioning

  • Promote Fortive's employer value proposition within MedTech and life sciences talent communities
  • Support initiatives that strengthen brand awareness among technical and clinical talent segments

Data & Insights-Driven Recruiting

  • Leverage recruiting data and market intelligence to refine strategies and improve hiring outcomes
  • Track key metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, conversion rates) and provide actionable insights

Executive-Level Advisory

  • Advise senior leaders on talent supply/demand, compensation trends, and competitor landscape within MedTech
  • Influence hiring strategies through data, storytelling, and market expertise

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, or a related field within a global organization
  • Significant experience (7+ years) recruiting within the MedTech, medical device, life sciences, or healthcare technology sectors
  • Proven ability to lead complex, high-impact searches for technical and regulated roles
  • Strong understanding of MedTech functional areas (e.g., R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Manufacturing)
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., FDA, ISO standards, quality systems) and how they impact hiring
  • Expertise in modern sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, industry platforms, and AI-enabled tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data and market insights to inform strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across global teams
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and embraces ambiguity
