Job Title: RN - PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)
Location: Roseburg, OR
Start Date: TBD
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
Shift: 5×8 Days
Pay: $2,602/week + $2,500 completion bonus per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Position Overview
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Roseburg, OR. This position offers competitive weekly pay, completion bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The PACU nurse will provide post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort during the recovery process.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients recovering from anesthesia in PACU and Pre-op settings.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses during recovery.
  • Administer medications, oxygen therapy, and IV fluids as ordered.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech and other charting systems.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards in all aspects of patient care.

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or compact state eligibility.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • PALS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent PACU and Pre-op experience required.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
  • Experience using Meditech EMR systems required.
  • Familiarity with both electronic and paper charting (MMC: Meditech; ORSC: Mix of Meditech & paper charting).
