Job description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in an adult respiratory care department, requiring RRT license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
Job Details
• Work in the Respiratory Care Department serving an adult patient population,
• 13-week travel assignment,
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM,
• Utilizes equipment including G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 ventilators specific to patient population,
• Meditech EMR system used,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 6 months of current RRT experience,
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required,
• License required if applicable,
• Critical care experience preferred,
• Prior Meditech experience preferred,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
Additional Information
• Perform airway management and ventilator management duties,
• Provide respiratory support to the Emergency Department,
• Strong communication skills with staff and providers valued,
• Patient care experience is a priority for this role,
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
