Full Time

Essential Functions (list in order of importance including measures)
  • Interact with business users to understand new business requirements and enhancement requests
  • Senior Business Analysts use their comprehensive business knowledge and strong analytical skills to guide business strategy, make informed decisions and manage project implementation. They also analyze business processes and translate them into technical requirements.

โ€ข Serves as liaison role between application technology vendors, internal IS groups, and business users
โ€ข Translate business requirements into product-specific designs and configuration, detailed requirement specifications and use cases
โ€ข Coordinates people involved in IS process to ensure desired results are accomplished
โ€ข Communicates effectively with all parties related to the assigned process area
โ€ข Provides accurate and timely information and appropriate notification as required
โ€ข Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and process mapping and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests to be used by end users
Qualifications:
  • 4 years of experience working with Microsoft Enterprise products.
  • Experience of working on desktop/laptop systems and associated peripherals
  • Meditech Expanse experience desired
  • Basic understanding of networking and security principles (e.g. internet access, routing, servers, firewalls)
  • Experience with desktop virtualization (e.g. Microsoft virtual PC, Citrix, VMware) is a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be very polished and presentable - this is a highly visible role within the organization.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting senior executives, VPs etc.
  • Ability to multitask and manage working on several different projects
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem resolution skills, be able to solve problems independently or with other teams as appropriate.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent education/professional work experience
