Position Overview

Northern Montana Health Center is seeking an experienced Polysomnographer (Sleep Technologist) to join its Cardiopulmonary team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders through both in-lab and home sleep testing. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and provide patient education under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Medical Director.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform polysomnographic studies including diagnostic and therapeutic sleep testing
  • Conduct home sleep apnea testing and in-lab studies
  • Monitor, analyze, and document patient data accurately
  • Provide patient education related to sleep disorders and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards
  • Operate and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment, including Cadwell systems

Required Qualifications
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sleep technology
  • Active state license (if applicable)
  • Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Cadwell systems
  • Strong clinical, analytical, and communication skills

Additional Requirements
  • Candidates must reside more than 250 miles from the facility if applying as a traveler
  • Holiday coverage required
  • Ability to work night shifts and maintain schedule flexibility

Work Environment & Details
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • EMR system: Meditech
  • On-call responsibilities may be required
