Position Summary:
The primary purpose of your job is to administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides. The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.
Education/Qualifications:
  • Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
  • Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
Shift and Wage:
  • Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunity Available
  • Shifts Needed: 1st and 2nd shifts
  • Wage: $18.00 per hour
