Job description

Job Title: CMT Technician IJob Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented CMT Technician I to perform field testing and inspection of construction materials including concrete, soils, aggregate, and asphalt. You will conduct sampling and testing in compliance with ASTM, ACI, and project specifications, document test results, and prepare detailed daily field reports. The role requires effective communication with project managers, contractors, and clients, as well as maintaining testing equipment and ensuring proper calibration. Commitment to safety policies and procedures is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Perform field testing and inspection of construction materials such as concrete, soils, aggregate, and asphalt.
  • Conduct sampling and testing according to ASTM, ACI, and project specifications.
  • Document test results and prepare detailed daily field reports.
  • Communicate findings with project managers, contractors, and clients.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Travel to local job sites throughout the area.
