Job Description: As a Virtual Benefit Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding retirees through their Medicare options, helping them enroll in health, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans that best fit their needs. You'll provide expert advice, build trusting relationships over the phone, and ensure a seamless, professional, and ethical experience.
This is a fully remote position, and we provide all the necessary equipment!
What You'll Do:
  • Educate & Advise - Help retirees understand Medicare plans, assess their needs, and recommend the best options.
  • Engage with Warm Leads - No cold calling! Connect with pre-qualified customers from our service team.
  • Enroll Customers - Guide retirees through the enrollment process while adhering to compliance regulations.
  • Handle Inbound & Outbound Calls - Answer customer questions, follow up on pre-scheduled appointments, and assist with any concerns.
  • Provide Outstanding Service - Deliver a positive, professional, and ethical customer experience.
  • Stay Organized & Efficient - Respond to voicemails within 24 hours, manage your schedule, and track customer interactions.
  • Meet Performance Goals - Strive to exceed key metrics in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
  • Stay Informed - Keep up with Medicare policies, CMS regulations, and product updates.

Required Skills:
  • Active Health Insurance License (with NPN) - Must be valid before your start date.
  • Medicare Knowledge & Compliance - Ability to pass the licensing exam, AHIP, and carrier certifications annually.
  • Sales & Customer Service Skills - Background in consultative sales and/or service is a plus!
  • Strong Communication & Tech Skills - Comfortable using Microsoft Office and handling basic troubleshooting.
  • Self-Motivated & Organized - Ability to manage your time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability During AEP Season - Flexible to work shifts between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM CT, seven days a week.
