Health Plan Manager for Medicare Advantage Center of Excellence
What You'll Do
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in Medicare Advantage, with strong functional knowledge across key domains including Risk Adjustment, Quality (Stars), Provider Engagement, and Cost of Care management, as well as evolving payer-provider partnership models.
  • Develop data-driven solutions, insights, and points of view that help Medicare Advantage organizations improve financial and clinical performance by optimizing reimbursement accuracy, enhancing quality outcomes, and reducing avoidable medical costs.
  • Partner with health plan and provider stakeholders to design and support provider engagement strategies that drive adoption of risk adjustment and quality programs while aligning incentives across the care continuum.
  • Lead client relationships and business development efforts, including opportunity identification, solution shaping, and proposal support.
  • Manage end-to-end client delivery, proactively mitigating risks and ensuring executive stakeholders are informed of progress, outcomes, and value realization.
  • Stay current on regulatory, policy, operational, digital, and industry trends impacting Medicare Advantage, including CMS guidance and market dynamics.
  • Effectively lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams with diverse skill sets, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and on-the-job coaching to support team development and career growth.
  • Cultivate an innovative, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment that encourages continuous improvement and new ways of thinking.
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly assimilate new information and translate complex concepts into practical, actionable recommendations for clients

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable
  • 8+ years' experience in health plan management consulting, with a focus on topics related to Medicare Advantage
  • 3+ years' experience in a senior role (manager, director) within a professional services firm
  • Demonstrated experience with driving commercial relationships within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the VP level.
  • Strong credentials and demonstrated success in defining and delivering digital/tech solutions
  • Ability to lead a virtual team of consulting professionals across multiple projects
  • A high level of motivation and self-starting attitude
