All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview

Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's in health science, health education, biology, nursing, physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, dietetics, nutrition or public health; OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in any biological science; OR The equivalent (NOTE: An example of the equivalent is any bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience; OR any associate's degree and six years of professional experience. The professional experience must be directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment); AND Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Two (2) years of successful teaching experience in a related discipline. Demonstrated skill in using innovative online teaching methods, instructional design, and assessment strategies.

Experience in course delivery using Canvas Leaning Management System. Evidence of a demonstrated commitment to equity in the community college setting. Willingness to teach in-person sections on all three campuses.
