Dietetic Internship Community Nutrition Rotation - for Graduate Students enrolled in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign & Eastern Illinois University Dietetic Internship Programs
The CUPHD Maternal & Child Health (MCH) division provides services primarily to low income or at-risk mothers and children in Champaign County. We seek to ensure that all families have the resources they need to have happy, full-term pregnancies, with access to nutritious food and the support they need to be healthy. We also work to make sure all babies and children are safe and healthy, with access to nutritious breast milk and food, immunizations, and other resources they need to grow and thrive. Services include WIC, immunizations, HealthWorks, Family Case Management, and healthy food accessibility through projects like the Give Back Garden, Free Friday Market, Summer Food Service Program, and CU Farm to School program.
