As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at ProMind Wellness Clinic, your daily responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of new clients to understand their mental health history and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Delivering psychotherapy services to a wide range of clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care, modified to meet individual patient needs.
• Maintaining adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring all clinical documentation is timely and accurate.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic patient care and develop integrative treatment strategies.
• Engaging in regular peer consultations and case reviews that promote the sharing of best practices and encourage professional development.
• Offering psychoeducation and skill-building resources to clients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate mental health challenges.
• Continuously updating knowledge of mental health trends and integrating new findings into practice to enhance client outcomes.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse array of clients within a school context, which may include students struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other mental health conditions. You'll employ a holistic approach to address not only the symptoms but also the underlying factors affecting their mental health, recognizing the impact of environmental and systemic influences.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused interventions and ability to adapt techniques based on client needs.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective collaboration and rapport with clients.
• A strong analytical mindset, capable of assessing complex situations and devising appropriate interventions.
• A commitment to teamwork and continuous personal and professional growth.

• Experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual therapeutic platforms.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities are highly desirable.
