Become the Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist you always wanted to be
  • Processes medical staff applications for multiple hospitals correctly, completely, and timely.
  • Ensure applications flow through required committees in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all credentialing documents with expiration dates are current.
  • Maintain a database of credentialed medical staff and advanced practice professionals.
  • Provide medical staff rosters and delineations of privileges to the appropriate hospital staff.
  • Participate in surveys (accreditation/ regulatory) with respect to medical staff affairs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all credentialing information and medical staff meetings

Qualifications
  • CPCS or CPMSM preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Five year's experience in medical staff credentialing preferred.
