Job description

We are seeking an Optometric Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
  • Perform routine optometric/clinical tasks to support medical staff
  • Communicate with patients for suggesting and advising on required medical procedures, fitting and ordering eyewear
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, and perform pretesting and other related procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare and or retail desired but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
