Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite at our facility dedicated to home care services, allowing for immediate interaction with patients and a direct influence on their health journeys. The work setting is fast-paced yet supportive, designed to foster teamwork and cultivate professional development among employees. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will enjoy a consistent work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend assignments for special events or emergent patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently handle a variety of administrative duties, such as scheduling patient appointments, coordinating physician calendars, and maintaining electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions.
  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival, collect comprehensive medical histories, and prepare them for examinations or treatments, ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and various medical procedures, utilizing your knowledge of medical equipment and practices to maintain a sterile and organized environment.
  • Collect, label, and document specimens for laboratory testing, adhering to established protocols to ensure the integrity of test results.
  • Administer medications, including injections, under the supervision of physicians, prioritizing patient safety and compliance with prescribed protocols.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and EKGs, with precision in interpreting and documenting findings in patient records.
  • Educate patients about their medications, procedures, and overall health guidelines, fostering an understanding that encourages proactive engagement in their healthcare.
  • Perform routine clinical tasks including measuring vital signs, documenting patient heights and weights, and implementing follow-up tasks as needed.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and well-equipped, routinely sterilizing instruments and monitoring inventory of medical supplies to prevent shortages.
