PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work in the interesting and complex world of Class Action and learn from one of the top administrative-support providers in the country. We are currently looking for a bright and ambitious individual to fill the position of Senior Consultant. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Senior Consultant is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of class action settlements in which Verita has been retained to administer. Provides assistance to the Director and Vice Presidents when requested and provides daily support to the case team. Responsibilities include project management and direct oversight of court-imposed duties and services on class action settlements from inception through completion. The Senior Consultant provides direct supervision and guidance for members of their assigned administrative teams as well as coordinates with Operations and other departments to effectively manage all project requirements.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Oversee the administrative aspects of class action cases, including filing documents, maintaining case files, and ensuring compliance with court deadlines.

Communicate with clients, providing timely updates on case status and answering questions.

Responsible for ensuring governing documents (e.g. Court Orders, Settlement Agreements, and contracts) are complied with during the life cycle of the project.

Manage all claimant inquiries (e.g. email, phone and correspondence) to ensure communication, fulfillment (e.g. website content, FAQs, Customer Service Rep scripts) and escalation when necessary.

Resource planning and scheduling.

Organize and manage large volumes of data.

Responsible for signing off on court documents, settlements and similar legal materials.

Responsible for supervising one or more Case Coordinators and temporary staff when necessary, including interviewing, hiring and training employees.
