Summary

Women's Healthcare of Middle Georgia is seeking a full-time Medical Scribe to join our busy OB/GYN practice. The ideal candidate will have previous medical scribe experience, be proficient in eClinicalWorks (eCW), and possess exceptional attention to detail while documenting patient encounters in a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidates with experience in Women's Health or OB/GYN are highly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do
  • Document patient visits in real time while accompanying providers during examinations.
  • Accurately record patient histories, physical exam findings, assessments, treatment plans, and provider instructions in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
  • Prepare and update patient medical records while ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
  • Assist providers by organizing charts and ensuring all required documentation is completed before and after patient visits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and practice policies.
  • Communicate professionally with providers, clinical staff, and patients.
  • Perform other clinical documentation and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Previous Medical Scribe experience is required.
  • Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required.
  • Excellent typing speed and computer proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document medical information.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced medical office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and patient confidentiality.
  • Previous experience in an OB/GYN or Women's Health practice is preferred.
