Secondary Science Teacherย 

  • High School

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements (DX or DI) and evidence of MTTC scoresย 
  • ESL Endorsement (NS) preferredย ย 
  • Must meet MCL 380.1531 & Administrative Rules Governing the Certification of MI Teachersย 

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

DUTIES:
  • Differentiate lessons for specific abilities
  • Use research-based instructional techniques
  • Oversee small group and whole group instructionย 
  • Provide a learning environment that is trauma-informedย 
  • Provide instruction to address the State Benchmarks
  • Use appropriate technology tools
  • Complete records in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in school committees
  • Actively participate in department data analysis
  • Communicate to all members of the school & community
  • Meet the physical and mental demands of the teaching profession and the position
  • Maintain philosophy in accord with Lincoln Park Public Schools
  • Work cooperatively with staffย 
  • Follow the requirements of supervisors
