Job description

National Institute of Clinical Research, a research organization serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, is searching for a highly experienced Medical assistant with Phlebotomy experience to assist our research coordinators in clinical trials.
The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Research Study Coordinator in recruiting subjects for assigned clinical trials and coordinating the research activities and visits for the subjects enrolled in research projects. Essential functions include scheduling research visits for subjects enrolled in clinical trials, the performance of EKG, routine phlebotomy, other lab assessments such as vital signs, and obtaining necessary lab results for the subjects. The research assistant will also be responsible for assisting the study coordinator in reviewing and requesting medical records. Must have experience with PC software applications including word processing. The ability and willingness to learn new software programs is also required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Medical assistant / Phlebotomist with at least one to two years of clinical experience (certification preferred) or a laboratory technician with at least one to two years of clinical experience.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic preferredย
