What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant / Front Desk Receptionist, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional patient experience by supporting both front office operations and clinical care.
  • Welcome patients by checking them in and out, registering new patients, and collecting co-pays and deposits.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and gather required patient information.
  • Prepare patient paperwork, insurance documentation, and required consent forms.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using EMR systems while protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical information.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms, clean instruments, stock supplies, and monitor inventory.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, patient care, medication administration (under physician supervision), and patient transfers.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and their families throughout their visit.
  • Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and facility policies while completing required compliance training.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of administrative experience.
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum one year of hands-on experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Preferred
  • Medical Assistant Certification.
