Position: Interventional Radiology Technician
Shift Details
Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of experience in interventional radiology, with 2 years preferred. Additional experience in Cath/EP is a plus, as candidates may float to various departments as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 18 months in specialty; 2 years preferred
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT Certification
    • Florida State License
    • AHA ACLS Certification
    • AHA BLS Certification
    • RCIS Certification preferred
  • On-Call Requirement: Yes
  • Floating Requirement: Candidates may float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs
  • Weekend Requirement: Will be discussed with Manager

Additional Requirements

  • Orientation: EKG and Pharmacy tests required with two attempts max for each; no remediation for retests
Skills Required
  • Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab experience
  • Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience
  • Proficiency in performing cardiac procedures including stent placements, catheterizations, and IABP placement/removal
  • Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and perform sterile techniques

Work Conditions
The facility operates under strict policies and maintains a smoke-free environment. All travel candidates must adhere to annual competency requirements as part of their employment.
