Within the Radiology department, the Radiology Technician will contribute to an Imaging team that delivers accurate, timely diagnostic services for patients across the continuum of care. Working with imaging equipment and established safety protocols, this professional will prepare and position patients, obtain high-quality diagnostic studies, maintain clear documentation, support efficient department operations, and consistently uphold radiation protection, infection prevention, and patient privacy standards.
Reporting to an experienced imaging or clinical services leader, the Diagnostic Imaging Technologist will receive support from approachable management, friendly nurses, physicians, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include confirming orders and patient identifiers, explaining procedures, assessing image quality, communicating important clinical information, maintaining equipment readiness, and helping create a calm, respectful environment for every patient. The Radiology Technician will also have opportunities to contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, team education, and efficient coordination of care.
