Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- CA Fluoroscopy license required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients prior to examination.
- Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
- Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams.
- Document exam information and report important findings to physicians.
Compliance / Notes
- All associates are required to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
- Participation in background checks may be required.
