We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at MedStar Health Urology - specifically in Urologic Oncology. This job would be based mainly at MedStar Washington Hospital Center with opportunities to provide care at our regional ambulatory centers. This position offers an opportunity to practice with a small team of physicians who are regional leaders in Urologic Oncology. Our team focuses on comprehensive management of all urologic malignancies, and we often take care of complex cases with other disciplines. In addition, our site is a primary site for the MedStar Georgetown Urology residency program, and you will be able to work closely with residents and medical students. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for patients with complex urologic oncologic conditions with a focus on innovation, education, and research.
Your focus will be on providing care for these patients, both independently and in assisting our surgeons with outpatient care for pre-op and post-op patients as well as assisting in robotic surgeries. We will train you to perform office procedures, including diagnostic cystoscopy, complex urethral catheterization, and intravesical therapies. If interested, you can participate in clinical trials and eventually become a co-investigator. The standard schedule is Monday-Friday, during normal business hours.
