Reporting to the Director Health Solutions Business Operations, the Quote Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the quotation lifecycle within the Medical Health Solutions segment. This position leverages technical expertise to interpret and structure initial data packages, ensuring streamlined and accurate quote development. The Quote Engineer collaborates extensively across internal teams-including Business Development, Quote Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Design, Supply Chain, and Site Operations-as well as with external customers.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Provide cross-regional support for complex and system integration quotations.

  • Conduct hands-on cost estimation for key categories such as PCBA and mechanical components, especially for rapid-response or TBD scenarios

  • Serve as a centralized resource for electromechanical quoting opportunities (Mechanical & PCBA).

  • Supplement site capabilities in make/buy analysis and decision-making.

  • Accelerate quote turnaround by proactively resolving data package discrepancies with customers

  • Standardize BOM formatting for seamless QuoteWin integration

  • Organize and format technical documentation (BOMs, drawings) to optimize quoting efficiency.

The experience we are looking to add to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical).

  • 5-7 years of quoting experience in:

    • Medical manufacturing (ISO13485 compliance)

    • Contract manufacturing of medical devices, equipment, and drug delivery systems.

  • Proficient in interpreting customer documentation to develop accurate BOMs, assembly drawings, test specs, packaging specs, and assembly instructions

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including basic macros), Adobe PDF, Word, and eDrawings

  • Solid understanding of component, assembly, and electrical drawings, including Gerber files

  • Preferred experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and aPriori

  • Tactical quoting support for complex manufacturing and industrial engineering projects
