This is a pivotal opportunity to join a dynamic team and directly influence the company's next phase of growth. If you are a strategic thinker ready to make a tangible impact, we want to hear from you.

Company Overview

At Lumbee Holdings, we deliver mission-critical logistical, technical, and analytical support to empower strategic government and defense operations. Our culture is built on continuous improvement, operational integrity, and dedicated service to key defense stakeholders. When you join our team, you become part of a collaborative environment where your expertise directly supports military readiness and system efficiency.

Your Role

As a GCSS-Army Medical Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a vital liaison and technical specialist supporting the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Command (USARC), specifically embedded with the 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support). Your core purpose is to validate, reconcile, and optimize medical maintenance and supply data within the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army). By ensuring high data integrity, accurate property book reconciliation, and smooth work order tracking, you will directly enable army units to meet mission-critical maintenance and logistical demands.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Validate Data Integrity: Scrub, analyze, and validate Master Maintenance Data File (MMDF) records in GCSS-A to maintain accurate equipment accountability across all assigned USARC units.

  • Guide & Mentor Unit Personnel: Provide hands-on guidance to unit personnel on correct GCSS-A data entry, work order tracking and validation, and property book corrections in alignment with official standards.

  • Research & Extract Logistics Data: Extract MAT-SIT reports and analyze medical equipment sets to streamline material classification and inventory visibility.

  • Configure Support Networks: Assist units in setting up maintenance support pathways, work centers, and support shops, and connect them to key medical logistics depots and agencies.

  • Oversee Operational Processes: Monitor and validate operator-level data processes, man-hour accountability reporting, and medical (Class VIII) repair parts ordering.

  • Train and Support Users: Deliver end-user functional training on equipment tracking, software updates, and revised GCSS-Army STAMIS procedures.

  • Report & Resolve Issues: Identify complex data anomalies, establish clear facts, and author comprehensive After-Action Reports (AARs) for leadership.

What You Will Need

Must-Haves
  • Security Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance.

  • Systems Expertise: At least 2 years of operator-level experience in GCSS-Army focusing on data validation, work order tracking, and property book reconciliation (or 1 year of recent experience with USAR STAMIS processes).

  • Communication & Operational Skills: Strong written/verbal communication abilities to deliver functional system guidance, basic foundational math, and proficiency with spreadsheets to prepare After-Action Reports (AARs).

  • Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within the Continental United States (CONUS).

Nice-to-Haves
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related technical, analytical, or business discipline (equivalent military/operational experience accepted in lieu of degree).

  • Military Background: Prior U.S. Military experience and direct familiarity with U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) organizational procedures.

  • Domain Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in an Army Medical Maintenance work environment, processing medical data.

Military & Veteran Equivalents

We strongly encourage transitioning service members and veterans to apply! Candidates with backgrounds in the following military occupational specialties (MOS) and Navy Enlisted Classifications (NEC) are exceptionally well-suited for this role:

  • U.S. Army MOS: 68J (Medical Logistics Specialist), 92A (Automated Logistical Specialist), or 92Y (Unit Supply Specialist).

  • U.S. Navy NEC: Navy Enlisted Classifications in Medical Supply and Medical Logistics.

  • Core Technical Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in an Army Medical Maintenance work environment and 2+ years of operator-level experience in GCSS-Army (or 1 year of recent USAR STAMIS experience).

If you have managed work order tracking, property book reconciliation, or medical maintenance data in uniform, your military logistics experience translates directly into this civilian role.

Logistics

  • Work Location: Salt Lake City, UT — 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support): The largest medical command in the Army Reserve, managing deployable field medical units and medical personnel across 26 states. (Standard business hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

  • Position Type: Full-time, Exempt

  • Travel Required: Up to 50% CONUS travel

  • Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package (detailed terms and eligibility provided during onboarding)

Mental and Physical Demands

This position is primarily sedentary and involves working on a computer for extended periods, including viewing monitors and using standard office technology. The role requires the cognitive ability to identify data discrepancies, review logistics workflows, and interpret technical procedures and system instructions. Occasional standing, walking, and minimal lifting (up to 10 lbs) may be required.

Related Duties as Assigned

To support evolving mission priorities and organizational goals, the Program Manager may assign you additional operational, technical, or logistics tasks.
