Job Overview

Medical Laboratory Technologist– Clinical Laboratories

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (Technician III) for our Clinical Laboratories team at the Senneville location, you will perform technical activities and follows directives from the study/phase plan and the SOP.


In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform the preparation and the analysis of samples.
  • Perform the quality control procedure and maintenances on the different instruments.
  • Perform the activities in a timely fashion by adhering to preset schedules.
  • Perform venipunctures
  • Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the GLP, SOP and health and safety rules.


We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role: 

  • College diploma in Biomedical Laboratory Technology
  • Valid OPTMQ Licence is mandatory.
  • Relevant experience is an asset;
  • Reading and writing English is required. Bilingualism is preferred;
  • Ability to work under time constraint and adapt to change;
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to work independently.


Role Specific Information:

  • Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
  • Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station, John Abbott College and from the REM station of l’Anse à l’Orme to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station
  • Salary: 26.00 $/per hour, opportunity to start at higher level and higher salary with specific research experience;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (8h00-16h15);
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
