Job description

Medical Laboratory Technician

This position performs medical diagnostic testing and specimen processing in the Clinical Laboratory. The Medical Laboratory Technician performs waived, moderate and highly complex testing under the supervision of a Medical Technologist or General Supervisor and is responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory policies and procedures. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
